JARVIS STUDIO creates modern and eclectic looks using luxurious finishes and materials with bespoke detailing and artisanal craftsmanship, curating the best classical and vintage elements, but always with a contemporary attitude. Jarvis and his team always find inspiration in the world of Fashion, Art and Architecture and regard each project as a collection which reflects the personalities of our clients through our design DNA.
THE STUDIO
We are very proud of our team of talented and dedicated designers, with backgrounds in interior design, decorative and fine arts and fashion. Our primary goal is to create projects that are elegant, sophisticated, refined, stylish, and timeless without ever losing sight of comfort and functionality. Although a relatively young firm, JARVIS STUDIO has been published in Architectural Record, New York Spaces, The New York Times, and Haute Living. The studio has an international clientele ranging from New York to Paris, Istanbul and Hong Kong.
ABOUT
Jarvis was born in Hong Kong and spent his teens in a boarding school in Lake Forest, Illinois. He received a master’s degree in Architecture from Columbia University’s Graduate School of Architecture, Planning and Preservation. Prior to setting up his own practice, he worked at Kohn Pedersen Fox and later at Cetra Ruddy, where he was responsible for the design of the Walker Tower Lobby and decorated high end residential projects. Jarvis also worked in the fashion industry, as a women’s wear designer at Ralph Lauren.
ABOUT
Erik Staley, Studio Director. Born and raised in northern California, Erik studied at the San Francisco Academy of Art for Interior Architecture & Design. Erik finds inspiration for his designs at the intersection of art and culture, using travel, photography, and language studies as his means. Passionate about creating meaningful, intricate spaces, Erik has spent many years designing interiors for countless clients before joining JARVIS STUDIO in 2019
